Our Beliefs
Christianity didn’t just lose its way —it was hi-jacked by people who use faith to spread fear, gain power, and win political power. And much of what they preach looks nothing like the Jesus we love.
A lot of us are angry. Angry at the horrific things faith has been used to justify. Angry that the loudest believers often seem least interested in love, humility, truth, or standing with the least of these.
Woke Like Jesus is a place to return to the Jesus who lifted the broken and confronted the powerful —the Jesus who loved people society threw away.
